Senior data engineer

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, including proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in data warehouse technologies.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python, Java. Proficiency in SQL, PySpark.
• Strong relational database skills - design, scalability, SQL Experience querying and extracting data from databases
• Familiar with data warehousing and storage systems such as BigQuery, Firestore, Redshift, Snowflake, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake Data Platform (data sharing, data clean rooms, marketplace).
• Experience building and deploying data-related infrastructure (messaging, storage, compute, transforms, scheduling and execution, monitoring, and/or CI/CD pipelines) across development/staging/production environments
• Experience in building robust data pipelines and writing ELT/ETL jobs using custom code
• Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools. (Quicksight, Tableau, Splunk etc.)
