MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING a 2nd shift Forklift Operator in the Indianapolis IN, area!
Pay: $19.00 / hour
Shift: 2nd shift, 6PM - 6AM, Sunday to Wednesday
Location: Indianapolis IN ( PARK100)
Job Overview: The lift truck operator role entails prompt and precise loading of outbound shipments and the proper racking of finished goods from the production line or incoming transfer trailers.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) diligently.
- Operate forklift with current certification, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting any issues.
- Load outbound shipments accurately and receive finished goods efficiently.
- Document and unload inbound loads properly, noting any changes on Bills of Lading.
- Transfer finished goods from production line to storage rack or transfer trailer, documenting product movements.
- Maintain GMP conditions on loading docks and in warehouses.
- Report any discrepancies on Bills of Lading to Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Comply with truck loading procedures and use equipment such as corner boards, pallet straps, and airbags correctly.
- Build loads and pallets according to customer requirements, and properly lock and seal trailers.
- Perform clerical duties using warehousing systems like SAP and ILS.
- Assist with physical inventories and routine GMP tasks.
- Operate equipment such as Floor Scrubber, Baler, Foamer, and Pressure Washer as needed.
- Adhere to assigned shift schedules, including weekends and extended hours when required.
- Successfully perform all fundamental tasks listed above.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is REQUIRED
- Minimum 6 months’ of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess current Nor-Cal Beverage Forklift Certification

- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.
- Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
