The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire a qualified candidate with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem solving environment. This position serves as the Central Receiving Coordinator II for DoIT performing large scale storekeeping duties including, but not limited to, the receipt, inspection, stocking, distribution and tracking of a large and varied inventory for DoIT and the consolidated agencies served by DoIT. In this role, you will tag and enter asset information into an inventory system as well as conduct on-site and off-site physical inventories. This position serves as a lead worker, drives to off-site locations in the delivery and receipt of inventory and equipment and operates forklift, pallet jack, dollies, flat bed card, and pallet wrappers.

30% Under direction, serves as the Central Receiving Coordinator for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT):
25% Enters asset information into the inventory system:
15% Reviews and monitors the work completed the previous day to ensure all items were accurately recorded and stored in the proper bin or storage place assignment or delivered to appropriate user site:
15% Maintains the agency’s recycling program guidelines for obsolete equipment and supplies under direction of the Asset Manager and other Agency staff:
10% Serves as a designated lead worker:
5% Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
1. Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of high school.
2. Requires two (2) years’ experience in the keeping of stores and stores records.
1. Two (2) years of experience reviewing order specifications and delivery/packing documents against actual shipment to ensure all proper quantity and quality of items are received.
2. Two (2) years of experience identifying and resolving/reconciling order discrepancies.
3. One (1) year of experience leading and instructing others in storekeeping and stock handling duties.
4. Extensive knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing methods and procedures in the receipt, storage and returns of a variety of goods.
5. Extensive knowledge of property control and security guidelines to maintain a safe and secure warehouse.
6. Working knowledge of transportation agencies and shipment methods.
7. Ability to utilize an electronic inventory system to record, maintain, track and monitor inventory equipment, goods, and assets.
8. Ability to analyze data logically and exercise sound judgement in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature.
9. Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients and others.

10. Requires the ability to lift and carry objects or equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. This is considered heavy work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(d)). Heavy work involves lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
