As a Warehouse Operator II, Fannin Warehouse Receiving, you will be trusted to perform a combination of manual and clerical warehousing duties at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX!

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Performing shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.

• Receiving incoming materials and preparing materials for shipment.

• Focusing on attention to detail and accuracy.

• Verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials.

• Preparing records of materials shipped and bills of lading.

• Routing materials to destinations.

• Laying out, fabricating, and assembling nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and preparing parts and tooling for special shipment.

• Routinely lifting 25-30 pounds, long periods of standing, working at heights up to 25 feet.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
