Accounting Intern

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Finance/Accounting Intern. This position will allow the successful candidate to gain valuable experience working in a corporate finance environment.

This full-time, paid internship for 10 weeks will provide the intern with hands-on experience in the accounting and finance field.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of forecasting reporting models
• Support new tool/software evaluation and implementation
• Assist in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and contributing to financial decision-making processes
• Participate in variance analysis and forecasting activities, gaining exposure to real-world financial scenarios
• Execute various administrative tasks related to financial operations
• Contribute to the preparation of internal and external financial documents such as divisional and departmental reporting
• Support audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Manage and organize financial data using relevant tools and software
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
• Other job duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS in Accounting or Finance
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
• Entry-level finance knowledge, with a passion for learning and growing within the industry
• Administrative support experience, showcasing organizational and task management skill
