Accounting Intern

ChildServe has an opportunity to support a current high school student in an Accounting Internship. This person will provide administrative services and support to the Accounting department. Initiatives will be assigned based on business need.

What You'll Do

• Review and assist in appealing unpaid claims and help resolve payment discrepancies.
• Record and apply payments and/or adjustments in the billing system.
• Review and make changes to the secondary batch file when needed.
• Assist with compiling and maintaining various accounting and database reporting.
• Assist with the Accounting department mail system.
• Assist with all areas of the Accounting department as needed, including payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, billing, purchasing, and grant management.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Current high school enrollment
• Experience with billing software, systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
