Job Description - Human Resources Intern

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources (HR) Intern is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the field human resources department. The intern will work up to 40 hours per week on-site in our Worcester, MA location.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment:
    • Post open positions, screen candidates and schedule interviews
    • Assist with job offers and new-hire orientation process
    • Perform administrative tasks related to recruiting
  • Data entry into the HRIS (UKG Pro)
  • Scan and upload documents to OnBase
  • Assist with routine HR reporting and tracking as needed

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in direction and priorities

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:

  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related major
