Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to learn about our Company and various aspects of our industry. You will gain hands-on HR experience by executing a project or series of tasks related to your desired career path.
You will work with the Compensation team and other members of our People & Transformation organization to analyze jobs and establish appropriate salary benchmarks, evaluate current employee pay against the external market, data processing, assist in the completion of market-based surveys and inventorying current compensation policies.
• Compensation job matching assistance and reporting from the PayFactors system
• Assisting in the completion of market based surveys
• Assisting with the collection of current compensation policies
• Assist in a variety of Compensation projects as needed
• Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or related field or a technical or workforce program approved by IGT.
• Strong Excel skills
• Passion and curiosity for learning
• Analytical skills and the ability to draw insights from data
• Ability to be trusted with confidential issues and data
• Possess strong communication, organization, time management, and customer service skills.
• You thrive in a past-faced environment.
• Not afraid to ask questions for clarity and guidance
• Attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data a must to be successful in this role
• Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week during the summer with possibility of extension into the fall / spring semester at a minimum of 12 hours/week
