Customer-Service Hospitality Intern

The Role: As a Summer Intern, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our future hotel guests have an outstanding experience. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Handling individual reservations and inquiries related to room bookings
- Providing excellent customer service through clear communication and problem-solving
- Sharing information about our extensive network of hotel properties and event details This is a fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to multitask and contribute to various departments within the organization. Expect to interact with approximately 100 customers daily, each with unique needs and requests. Key Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls warmly and professionally
- Assist with reservations, confirmations, and room requests
- Explain hotel details, rates, services, and amenities
- Process and confirm room reservations using our proven techniques
- Provide appropriate room assignments and upsell when suitable
- Support other departments as assigned by leadership Qualifications: - Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Positive interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Strong listening and comprehension abilities We welcome applications from students pursuing degrees in Hospitality, Sports Marketing, Communications, Business, Marketing, and other relevant fields. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mandatory, In-Office)
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Optional, Remote)
Sunday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Optional, Remote)
