Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Cape May Court House, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with the duties and responsibilities listed below:
• To spread hospitality and goodwill among all members and guests.
• To promote the game of golf.
• To assist members and guests at all times in all respects.
• Perform duties in accordance with the policies and procedures as outlined by the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional.
• Exceed member expectations with customer service.
• Understand and administer the club rules and policies.

Include the following: (other duties may be assigned)
• Assist in the daily operations of the golf program including greeting members and guests and monitoring play on the golf course to ensure proper pace of play.
• Help members and guests at the bag drop as well as retrieve their golf bags/push carts from the bag room.
• Maintain the Practice Areas and ensure range balls are stocked, neat and clean in appearance at all times.
• Assist in the merchandising of the Golf Shop including inventory levels, appearance, and cleanliness.
• Receive stock orders and special orders.
• Manage the Point of Sale system and assist members and gue.sts with their purchases
• Answer the phone politely while taking accurate messages.
• Help with the Junior Golf Program including instructing junior camps and clinics
• Play golf with the membership as scheduled and work on the personal game as time permits.
• Minor club repairs such as regripping and reshafting.

Requirements:

Compensation:
$13.00 – $15.00 per hour.
