IT Support Intern

Job Description:

Total Networks Interns will work with our Help Desk and NOC teams to gain valuable work experience and an opportunity for full time employment upon successful completion of the internship and upon graduation. Hours are flexible to work around your school schedule.

Basic Functions:

• Assist the IT and NOC teams with troubleshooting issues and providing technical support
• Assist with PC deployments
• Organize and maintain documentation
• Monitor automated and end-user incident and outage reporting, troubleshoot, and resolve problems

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Systems Information Systems major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Service awareness of all organization's key services for which support is being provided
• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
