Eataly is hiring a People Content & Communications Intern for Summer 2024 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Culture, Talent, and Training Teams. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!

With the guidance of the Culture & Talent Manager and the Learning & Development Partner, the intern will:

  • Learn about Eataly North America’s strategies, systems, processes, and tools around culture, talent, training, and development
  • Assist in executing Eataly North America’s recognition program, Stories of Eataly: track and calendarize details, create recognition posters, collect photographs
  • Plan and write “Faces of Eataly” articles featuring team members on Eataly’s website
  • Monitor completion of trainings: run reports, follow up with team members as needed
  • Adapt content for various training platforms and formats
  • Assist with writing and scheduling content for Eataly North America’s intranet
  • Brainstorm and draft creative, new content for all people-focused communications platforms
  • Build an extensive library of people-focused content for Eataly’s LinkedIn pages including posts, photos, updated copy for Life pages
  • Design and roll out a strategy, toolkit, and campaign to encourage team members to “Eatalianize” their LinkedIn profiles
  • Organize, label, and update Eataly’s electronic people media library
  • Propose ideas for in-person and online team member engagement; participate in planning
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

This internship runs from June - August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Powerpoint, and Sharepoint
  • Working knowledge of Italian language preferred

The compensation for this role is $16 per hour
