Job Description - HR/Healthcare Administration Intern

We are in search of a dynamic and forward-looking intern to join our HR/Healthcare Administration team for either the Spring or Summer of 2024. This internship, though unpaid, offers a unique opportunity for individuals eager to explore the realms of healthcare credentialing and the integration of AI technologies into administrative processes. We're looking for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare administration and is excited to contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with our HR and Healthcare Administration teams to gain insights into existing credentialing processes.
Conduct research and present proposals on AI tools and solutions that can enhance and streamline credentialing procedures.
Assist in the planning and execution of a pilot project aimed at integrating AI into credentialing workflows.
Actively participate in meetings, offering valuable input on project development and implementation strategies.
Document processes, discoveries, and outcomes to facilitate review and future reference.
Requirements: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in HR, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest in healthcare credentialing and technology, particularly AI.
Possess a knack for innovative problem-solving and a drive for process improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Willingness to commit to 20 hours per week throughout the duration of the Summer 2024 internship.
Location:
This internship will be under the supervision of the HR Director. While the position will primarily be remote, there will be a monthly in-person department meeting in Raleigh, NC.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 14.00 19.00 Per Hour
