Job Description - Hozpitality - Intern, Global Brands, Luxury & Lifestyle

Description The Opportunity Hyatt's Luxury & Lifestyle Global Brand Team seeks a Summer 2024 Intern who is obnoxiously passionate about themes, people, content, design, fashion, music, etc. that inspire. and shift culture. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Commercial Services and Brands organization, where you'll be exposed to various aspects of the hospitality industry through the lens of the brand. You will be part of a team passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills and building connections across the organization as we support our regional leaders and property teams. This is a paid internship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry through the lens of luxury and lifestyle global brands. This opportunity is available at Hyatt Hotels HQ in Chicago during the summer of 2024. Responsibilities: •Participation and contribution to building upon the framework for the Lifestyle & Luxury approach to Brand Experience Touchpoints - supported by each global brand lead. Through this work, you will be exposed to cross-functional workstreams within the Hyatt organization - learning through in-real-life examples of brand management, collaboration, hyper-focus on detail, and the power of creativity. •Assist in the development of new brand-led resources in support of field knowledge and execution of the brand. •Summer project to include the delivery of a new brand refresh of a major lifestyle brand; collateral refinement, brand-led standards, and additional activities for field roll-out. This project will bring together origination, creativity, and cross-collaboration. •Administrative duties may include invoice submission and tracking, contact sheet maintenance, property/brand requests, shared email inbox management, meeting minutes, and archive organization. Qualifications

Qualifications •Strong passion for branding and marketing with a desire to learn and grow in the field. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and organization. •Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. •Comfortable in the discomfort of not knowing all things and unafraid to ask questions. •Deeply immersed in lifestyle and cultural trends and experiences, inspired by collaboration, and more. •Simply, likes to get stuff done and do great work. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite •Previous internship or relevant work experience in marketing or branding is preferred. •A positive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and eagerness to contribute to the team's success. •Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. •2nd or 3rd year student •Studying hospitality, marketing, communications, business administration, or related fields. •Capable of a 12-week summer commitment, based at Hyatt Hotels HQ in Chicago, IL.
