As a Human Resources Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure in various areas of the HR department such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is available on a full or part-time basis for four months with the ability to grow into a full-time role upon completion of the internship. Responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of incoming calls,redirect HR related calls, distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
• Support colleagues with any general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, etc.
• Administrative support for the HR managers to include but not limited to name badges, digital filing and entering training rosters.
• Support the recruitment/hiringprocess bysourcing candidates, performingbackground checks.
• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team's agenda.
• Support with orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires.
• Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback.
• Support other functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently working towards completion of a bachelor's degree, human resources concentration preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite.
• Must be able to maintain high confidentiality
• Bilingual- Spanish preferred.
