• Support with review of policies, guidance, and specifications of the Department of Defense in support of research and development activities to include additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence and barcoding technologies.
• Conduct research and provide findings in support of client needs.
• Assist in evaluating results of studies, drafting reports, and preparing analyses for review.
• Contribute to team's preparation of project briefings, study findings, reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Provide program management support, perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of government agency leadership
• Contribute to, and participate in, group meetings with clients.
• Respond to internal and external substantive questions and inquiries on assigned tasks and projects.
• Give clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and results.
• Present project methodologies and findings to LMI staff and clients.
• Plan and coordinate conference activities.
• Collaborate with clients to develop products that strategically align to capabilities and customer needs
• Generate buy-in for vision with both senior leadership and customer stakeholders
• Maintain familiarity with current trends in technology, innovation, and salient challenges in the federal government

• Current student enrolled at an accredited undergraduate program, in good standing in operations research, industrial engineering, logistics, systems engineering, business administration, corporate communication, supply chain management, economics, or a related major.
• Must be available for 10-12 weeks starting in May/June 2023.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within LMI and with its clients.
• Strong communication skills, a go-getter attitude, analytical skills, and use of MS Office products are mandatory
• Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.
• Strong problem solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
