Modified Standards Engineering Intern

We are currently looking for a Modified Standards Engineering Intern to assist with CAD drawings for the parts that our engineering technicians produce. The intern will benefit this internship through the following:

Internship Duties/Projects:

• Creating CAD Drawings: Assist in making detailed CAD drawings for parts and assemblies.
• Updating Designs: Modify existing CAD drawings based on feedback.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements.
• Quality Checks: Review CAD drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• File Management: Organize and maintain CAD files and related documents.
• Production Support: Help prepare drawings for manufacturing.
• Learning: Stay updated with new CAD software features and industry trends.
• Additional Tasks: Perform extra tasks as needed to support the engineering team.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time work (40 hours per week) for Summer 2024
• The intern should be prepared to work overtime alongside the team as needed to meet project deadlines. Specific work hours and overtime expectations will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process to ensure clarity and alignment with team needs.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in any engineering degree
• Preferably with experience in creating CAD drawings
• Has the drive to learn in a fast-paced work environment
• Willing to work on-site at Sedalia, MO

This is a paid onsite internship.
