Diablo/Freud Tools is looking for an energetic, driven, detail-oriented intern to assist our digital marketing and finance teams. You are currently at a college or university pursuing a degree in marketing, finance, or a related degree and are interested in gaining real-world experience with an industry-leading organization. Previous knowledge of construction products and/or power tools is not required.

Job Description

You are a current student or recent grad whose diverse educational background lends itself to working with our digital marketing and finance teams. This internship is a 50/50 mix of marketing and finance. You are comfortable with switching gears and working on multiple projects simultaneously. You are creative, yet analytical with an eye for detail. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct dealer website audits. Develop and execute plans to bring dealer sites into compliance.
• Data entry of new product launches and missing content into PIM system.
• Competitor and market research.
• SEM/SEO research.
• Analyze product reviews/social posts for opportunities to update or elevate marketing copy.
• Support product margin analysis of focus projects (new launches, mix management measures, etc..) identifying areas of margin changes.
• Assist with deep dive analysis on financials for specific items.
• Set up monthly tracking by product area.

Qualifications

• Current university student in good standing (min. 3.0 GPA); pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in marketing, finance, or related field of study
• Able and willing to work on-site
• Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of margin analysis and financial accounting
• Familiarity with PIM systems such as Salsify a plus
• Familiarity with Power BI reports a plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
