The Process Engineer Intern or Recent Graduate provides design
and engineering support for the design of Process Systems.
Process Systems included all Gases (Bulk and Specialty),
Chemicals (Aqueous, Solvents, and Slurries), Waters (UPW), and
Wastes (Acid, Fluoride, Ammonia, etc.) used in high-tech
manufacturing facilities as well as all Clean and Support
Utilities used in Life Sciences and Chemical
Manufacturing.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of designs consistent with
industry-accepted practices as well as client-preferred
standards
- Assist in the development of process flow diagrams,
process and instrumentation diagrams, and pipe and equipment
plans for all Process Systems.
- Supports fluid flow and pressure modelling using advanced
modelling systems such as pipe flow
- Interacts with other internal disciplines, vendors and
clients in coordination, design, and construction of process
systems.
- Other duties as assigned
Show your expertise
- Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or
related field required
- At least a 3.0 GPA preferred
- Must be at least in Junior year of college
- Prior experience as an intern in a project team environment
preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the
team.
