Corporate Tax Intern - Part Time
Parsippany, NJ  Sun Chemical Corporation in the U.S. has sales of $1.3 billion and is headquartered in Parsippany, NJ. The Corporate Tax Department maintains two undergraduate tax intern positions. The internship program is a full-time summer program and a part-time fall and spring session. This will be an onsite position at our Parsippany, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of general business tax returns including, sales tax, annual reports and assisting in federal, state, and international income tax returns.
• Aid in researching corporate tax issues.
• Responsible for maintaining the America’s tax compliance tax calendar and worldwide legal entity organization chart.

Experience & Education:

• Finance or Accounting major in 2nd or 3rd year w/interest in corporate taxation.
• Must be team player and independently motivated.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, in particular) and
• Familiarity with financial statements with a knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP).

This internship program is best suited for highly motivated students who desire to learn about the corporate taxation complexities of a multi-national company.
