Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Technical Intern. This is a hands on opportunity to gain experience contributing to the development of a corporate offering based on Federal extensions to ServiceNow. Must be motivated and able to jump in and take on a development assignment for the summer. Work as part of the team that that is charged with bringing new capabilities and innovations to Federal customers that include DEA , EPA , GAO , CFTC and many others. Must have the ability to work virtually and independently, supporting a fast-moving team. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

+ Work with ServiceNow development team.

+ Participate in development of new projects and innovations for our Federal Customers

+ Work with application owners to update workflow tasks and approvals for automated processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

+ Experience developing capabilities with modern software development languages

+ Ability to quickly learn new skills and either research or seek help to overcome obstacles

+ Computer Science curriculum and hands-on programming expertise

+ Database principles

+ User interface principles

+ Ability to work virtually and independently, including seeking help as needed

+ Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ ServiceNow development or configuration experience

+ User Experience design principles

+ Agile techniques

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $20.00 – USD $20.00 /Hr.
