Marketing Intern

Sika Corporation’s Flooring Target Market manufacturers and sells high performance resinous flooring for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications. We currently have an opening for a Marketing Intern, located in Canton, MA. This position is responsible for assisting in the support of various marketing initiatives with a specific focus on digital marketing.

This position reports to the Marketing Communications Manager – Flooring.

The responsibilities include:

• Assist in closed loop marketing campaigns by fielding, assessing and directing inbound inquiries.
• Assist in the conception and execution of outbound marketing campaigns directed at specific vertical markets
• Tradeshow/event planning, execution and follow through
• Website clean-up and adjustments to maximize user experience
• Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect work area or company property
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following

qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, ideally completed at least 2nd year of study.

The candidate should have the following personal skills and abilities:

• Proficient with windows-based software
• Strong business and creative writing skills
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage and organize several activities at one time
• Must work well with groups of people from diverse disciplines
• Proficiency with video creative and editing tools
• Experience with utilizing social media and Adobe design tools a plus
