At CIBC, the candidate will primarily be responsible for partnering with the Group Portfolio Manager and senior Relationship Managers in order to support the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit while gaining exposure to Capital Markets, Treasury Management, and Private Wealth Management. Help with credit approval memorandums and portfolio reviews Assist deal teams with financial modeling and prepare prescreen memorandums Evaluate risk/return parameters of financing transactions Complete industry / competitor due diligence Other responsibilities include managing the office's deal flow and engaging in prospecting and client communications May work on special projects as assigned by management
Rising Senior (graduating May 2023) in pursuit of completing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting Minimum GPA of 3.0 Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a high degree of proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrates strong interest in the financial markets Highly collaborative team player
