2025 Summer Intern

Ryan Lawn and Tree is looking for motivated and dedicated students to join our team for a unique and hands-on summer internship experience! As an intern, you will receive training and exposure in various departments, gaining valuable industry knowledge and practical skills that will set you up for future success. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Train in multiple departments, including Turf, Irrigation, Landscape, Pruning, and Tree & Shrub Protection.
• Contribute to maintaining beautiful lawns through fertilization, weed control, insect control, and disease management.
• Service and repair irrigation systems, ensuring the health and vitality of our clients' landscapes.
• Work with expert tree pruners to learn techniques in tree and shrub care.
• Help create stunning outdoor living spaces that enhance our clients' properties.
• Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service and gain real-world communication experience.

Requirements

• Academic Background: We are seeking individuals pursuing a degree in Business, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Management, or Agriculture, but all majors are welcome to apply!
• Ambition: You should be a self-starter who is passionate about learning and growing in a hands-on environment.
• Physical Readiness: This role involves outdoor physical work (ability to lift 50 pounds and walk up to 3 miles per day), so be prepared for an active summer.
• Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is required.
