The Account Management Resident is responsible for assisting Account Executives in preparing client presentations, gaining internal and external approval (on lower budget production jobs) during creative concepting and production, shipping deliverables, and placement of advertising campaigns.

Brain time means pay time. The residency pays $22 an hour, plus overtime, a housing stipend, and monthly OMNY card.

Major Responsibilities/Primary Functions include but are not limited to:

• Works with studio, producers and project manager to create ship schedules and to open and close job numbers


• Schedules and participates in client meetings when requested


• Helps prepare client presentations in Google Slides and Adobe


• Assists Account Executives with production needs including but not limited to planning pre-production meetings and shipping products and materials to shoot locations; attends shoots if requested to do so


• Works with Project Managers to update weekly status reports by tracking down team members and retrieving any missing campaign specifics


• Submits TV spot dubbing and shipping requests to the Audio Visual department


• Coordinates with the Account Coordinator to organize meeting needs such as catering, reserving conference rooms, gathering AV equipment and collecting presentation boards from studio


• Helps Account Executives facilitate communication between W+K, clients, and our partner agencies (media, retail, digital) to ensure seamless creative outcomes and media placement


• Provides added value to the client by researching the brand, its category and its competitors

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment


• Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines


• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required


• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)


• Digital and social media savvy


• A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees


• Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail


• Exceptional initiative and follow through skills


• After hours work and weekend work may be required
