The Conair Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in CPG with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on-the-job learning experiences.
BHC Walmart Intern Position Summary:
Selected participants will have the opportunity to support a $125MM+ portfolio and learn from the team that directly manages the Walmart businesses across a diverse portfolio of Personal Care Appliances (PCA), Hair Accessories, Cosmetic Bags (HBAC) in Beauty & Homecare.
Dress Code:
Our day-to-day office environment is business casual. Jeans are acceptable, provided overall appearance remains professional and appropriate for a corporate setting. When attending customer meetings, presentations, or special events, business attire is expected.
Responsibilities:
Interns will receive daily/weekly assignments that will offer general exposure to growing their knowledge base in sales, marketing, e-commerce/digital, merchandising, planning, operations, and strategic planning. The interns’ schedules will provide a set period with each Conair team/function area for a holistic learning experience. In addition, each Intern will be given a specific assignment based on their skill set, interests, and capacity, to be assigned by the Director. There will be final events for interns to celebrate their completion of the program and to prepare a formal recap of learnings and ah-ha moments to share with Conair leadership via Teams or in person. Interns should also anticipate joining select customer business meetings to enhance their learning and interaction, both internally and externally, as well as attending store and club tours to understand our product categories and the rest of the market.
Week #1: Intro to Conair Team, Walmart Businesses + Conair Analyst/Planners
Week #2: Hair Fashion Appliances (Styling Tools, Dryers & Grooming)
Week #3: Hair Accessories & Cosmetic Bags
Week #4: Home (Garment Care)
Week #5: Operations (Business Analytics & Replenishment)
Week #6-8: Interns' collaboration and preparation for their FINALE presentation to the Director and Conair leadership in Stamford, of key learning’s on Friday, 8/7/26. Session will be via Teams.
To Qualify/Apply:
- You must be a current college student entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2026.
- You must be in excellent academic standing.
- You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You are proficient with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
- No Visas or OPT can be accepted, presently.
- Compensation is set at $25 per hour.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license to utilize the company car to deliver samples to Walmart and Sam’s Club layout centers. All within a 5-mile radius of the Conair Bentonville office.
- This internship is Monday- Friday, located in our Bentonville office, beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, to Friday, August 7, 2026. We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidates must be willing to come into the office 4x/week.

Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidates must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week, with Friday being a work-from-anywhere day.
