2026 Summer Intern, Creative Content Graphic Design

Job Description:

Summary:
We are seeking talented students who are interested in paid summer internship opportunities within the New York Mets’ front office. Ideal candidates have a long-term goal of working in professional sports. The Summer Internship Program is designed for qualified students who are entering their rising Junior or Senior year of college. The Interns selected will make a significant contribution to the organization during the 2026 season. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the content and design field.

Program Length/Schedule:

• The internship will run from June 1st through August 7th, 2026.

• Candidates must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

• Work location will be on-site at Citi Field, Flushing, NY 11368.

• Please note game day and special event responsibilities include late nights and weekends.

• If you are selected to participate in the interview process, the first round will include a digital interview.

• The New York Mets will not be providing housing for the internship.​

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of visual content, both video and graphic design

• Collaborate with design team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for marketing team

• Create and update day-to-day graphics for pre-game/in-game needs.

• Assistance with Wayfinding around Citi Field.

• Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials

• Assist podcast team with content and design needs

• Game day hours may be required.

• Available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a design, visual communications, or related program

• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize work responsibilities

• Must be able to work and interact well with others across organizational levels (fellow interns, executives, front office staff, athletes, fans, corporate clients, etc.)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Intermediate-level experience in Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis on Photoshop and After Effects

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable working on tight and demanding deadlines

• Intermediate-level experience with current AI technology is a plus

Hourly Rate: $20.00
