Position Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support Victaulic's HR team in delivering strategic HR services across the organization. This hands-on internship offers exposure to employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, HR analytics, policy administration, and talent management initiatives. The ideal candidate will gain practical experience in a dynamic HR environment while contributing to projects that support our people and enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR Business Partners in providing strategic HR consultation and solutions to assigned business units
Assist with employee relations activities including policy interpretation, investigation support, and documentation
Support performance management processes including goal setting, performance review coordination, and employee development planning
Conduct HR data analysis including headcount reporting, turnover metrics, compensation analysis, and organizational structure reviews
Assist with organizational effectiveness initiatives including change management, workforce planning, and process improvement projects
Create and maintain HR documentation including organizational charts, position descriptions, process guides, and presentation materials
Participate in employee engagement activities and assist with internal communications and HR program rollouts
Conduct research on HR best practices, industry trends, and benchmarking data to support business partner initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
Rising junior or senior preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across the organization
