2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Purchasing

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The Purchasing internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Purchasing team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

Clinical Status: Non-Clinical

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

• You will assist in onboarding legacy suppliers into electronic files into the Ariba Supplier Lifecyle and Performance (SLP) system.
• You will drive supplier data migration, standardize onboarding processes.
• You will track performance through dashboards.
• You will support communications across procurement, compliance, and supplier management teams.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

•         You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

•         You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026.

•         You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7), full-time, 40 hours/week.
