2027 M3 Summer Marketing Intern

The Opportunity

Our Marketing Internship Program offers hands-on experience supporting marketing, communications, and promotional initiatives in a mission-driven organization. This role provides exposure to content creation, digital and social media marketing, event promotion, market research, marketing analytics, and project coordination. The intern will gain practical experience developing marketing materials, supporting campaigns and events, gathering audience insights, and helping track the effectiveness of marketing efforts while building relationships with professionals across the organization.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Gain real-world experience supporting marketing and communications initiatives


• Assist with creating and editing content for email, social media, web, and promotional materials


• Support event, program, and organizational initiative marketing efforts


• Help manage social media scheduling and digital marketing activities


• Conduct basic market research and gather audience insights


• Track marketing performance metrics, survey results, and campaign outcomes


• Build relationships with other interns, professionals, and leaders across M3

What You Will Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.


• Demonstrated success in college efforts through academics and/or involvement in activities.


• Ideal candidates will be entering their junior or senior year at a 4-year college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an interest in content creation and storytelling.


• Very strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, email marketing tools, or analytics platforms is a plus.


• Interest in marketing, communications, digital media, event promotion, market research, and analytics
