About Us - Float Pool
The Float Pool allows us to better care for our patients by supporting the staffing needs of the health system.
You will get a variety of clinical experiences, exposure to new patients and coworkers, and have many opportunities to learn new skills.
Our team members must have excellent critical thinking skills, outgoing personalities, and excellent communication skills.
We are looking for team players who are willing to teach and support coworkers.

What You’ll Do

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.

Requirements
1. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
2. Currently enrolled in RN or LPN nursing program and have successfully completed first semester of nursing courses.
3. If a CNA license was held prior to starting nursing program, the employee may be considered for a Student Assistant program.
4. Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation.
5. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days.
6. NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
