Accounting & Finance Intern

About the Role? 

As the?Accounting & Finance?intern, you will?assist the accounting team with daily accounting and data entry. They will be involved in physical inventories,?month end balancing?and budgeting.??The Accounting & Finance Intern will?maintain?a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within?Landus?Cooperative and a professional image for Landus.? 

What will you do?? 

• Assist with daily accounting activities
• Assist with month-end close duties
• Assist with physical inventory balances with locations
• Work with locations on budget set up and entry  
• Data entry as directed 
• Assist accountants with general ledger reconciliations 
• Assist with analysis of expenses 

Requirements of Role: 

• Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary program with an emphasis?in?accounting/finance.?? 
• A valid state motor vehicle operator’s license?may be required
