AB Facility Services is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support our Accounting & Finance team with basic accounting tasks, data entry, and administrative support while gaining hands-on experience in a professional business environment. This is a great opportunity for a college student looking to apply classroom knowledge and earn academic credit toward their degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accounting and financial data accurately.


• Assist with invoice and payment data entry.


• Help organize and maintain accounting records and documents.


• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.


• Review data for accuracy and identify basic discrepancies
  


• Support the Accounting team with administrative tasks and special projects.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related degree.


• Eligible to receive college/university academic credit.


• Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred.


• Comfortable working with numbers and entering data accurately.


• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality.


• Reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Academic Credit

This internship is intended for students seeking or eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university. The student will coordinate with their school regarding internship requirements.
