Advocacy Liaison Internship
Job summary
will provide meaningful accompaniment to families from the Latinx and immigrant communities. The intern will gain practical work experience in the area of social work, case management, and social human services through a cultural and trauma-informed lens. This intern position supports the promotion of individual growth as well as the empowerment of families and individuals, through connection, advocacy, and case management.
Reports
This position is part of the Community Liaisons team and reports to the Advocacy Community Coordinator.

With this mentality, La Casita communication strategy uses LGBTQ+ inclusive language, and terminology geared accessible to pre-literate Spanish speakers through bilingual social media platforms, visual-based campaigns, and the use of gender-neutral terms in Spanish.
