Job Summary:

Based on daily production schedule, identify, check, and stage all necessary components required for each job ticket in the Screen Wash area to maximize productivity in both Screen Wash Area and Screen Press areas. 

Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Job Description:

• Work alongside and support Screen Makers in the preparation of screens, including stretching screens and applying emulsion on screens. 
• Wash and thoroughly clean screens after each stage of applying ink degrader, emulsion/ haze remover, and degreaser, ensuring all residues are removed.
• Dry screens by placing them in front of fans to ensure proper and complete drying.
• Retrieve and return all necessary materials required to complete assigned jobs.
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements. 
• Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with Manager/Supervisor and Team members to address opportunities for improvement. 
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• A positive attitude including high energy, and drive to contribute and make an impact
• Able to perform complex texts, prioritize multiple projects. 
• Assist and help with Screen department duties
• Responsible for the disposal of garbage and recycling bins within department
• Maintain a 5s throughout the Screen Department
• Work Overtime as needed
• Other Duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications of Position:

• Previous Screen Washer experience but not required

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to interpret written instructions.
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
• Organizational and planning skills for self-directed daily activities.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to visually inspect all screens for cleanliness and be sure there are no imperfections such as ink residue, scratches, or holes. 
• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
• Frequent walking and standing.

• Wear required PPE in the Screen Wash area, including a mask, goggles, gloves, boots, and aprons.
• Travel: N/A

Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed below. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
