Job Description - Architectural Technician Intern

Iconica is seeking an Architectural Technician Intern to join our team in Summer 2026!

As an Architectural Technician Intern, you’ll work closely with our architectural team to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of projects from concept through completion. You’ll see how design and technical solutions evolve across every phase of a project while building your skills in:

Assisting with schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
Attending client meetings and contributing to presentations.
Participating in site visits to observe construction in progress.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

Enrollment in an Architectural Technology or Architecture program.
Previous internship experience in design-build, construction, or architecture (preferred).
Familiarity with Revit or BIM360 (preferred).
Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurriculars.
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High initiative and eagerness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
