Audiologist Extern

Full Time, 1st Shift, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

The Audiologist Extern is a fourth-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) student completing a supervised clinical externship. Under the direction of licensed audiologists, the extern develops clinical competency in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hearing and balance disorders across the lifespan. The extern participates in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development while meeting the educational objectives established by their university and the clinical training site.

Education

• Enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program.


• Successful completion of required academic coursework and clinical practica.


• Eligible for a fourth-year clinical externship.
