Audiology Externship

Ear, Nose & Throat Specialties, P.C. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a 4th-year Audiology Extern for the 2027-2028 academic year.

ENT Specialties is a busy, collaborative medical practice consisting of 2 Audiologists, 6 Otolaryngologists (ENT physicians), and 5 Physician Assistants, providing a comprehensive and well-rounded externship experience in a diverse medical setting.

We offer a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for both pediatric and adult patients, including:

• Comprehensive audiometric evaluations and immittance testing
• Speech in Noise testing
• Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs)
• Infant ABR testing (screening and diagnostic)
• Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care
• Bone-anchored hearing device evaluations and fittings

Our externs are active members of the clinical team and gain extensive hands-on experience. Under appropriate supervision, externs participate in hearing aid fittings and follow-up appointments, developing the confidence and skills needed for independent practice.
