Automotive Technician – Part Time Summer Co-Op Placement

Acton Ford is seeking a motivated student currently enrolled in a high school or college automotive technical program for a part-time summer technician position, with the potential to continue into a formal co-op learning placement during the fall semester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain real-world dealership experience while continuing their automotive education in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance services


• Tire mounting, balancing, and rotations


• Oil changes and fluid services


• Vehicle inspections and basic shop support


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Follow safety procedures and dealership standards

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an automotive technical program at the high school or college level


• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with hand tools


• Work permit rules may apply depending on age and school requirements


• Acceptable academic performance both overall and within area of trade concentration
