Data Capture Technician (Part-Time)

Location: Austin, TX (field work in Abilene & across Texas)
Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: 1 weekday per week (8–10 hours)
Contract: 1 year 
Work Type: In-person, outdoor construction sites
Start: ASAP

What This Job Is

You’ll visit active construction sites and use 360° cameras and surveying tools to capture site data. That data is used to support AI and technology projects in the construction industry.

What You’ll Do

• Operate 360° cameras and data-capture equipment

• Collect and document construction site data

• Communicate progress to the project team

• Follow all safety rules on construction sites

• Work outdoors and walk long distances when needed

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

• Available 1 full weekday per week

• Comfortable working outdoors on construction sites

• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

• Able to do physical work (walking, standing, carrying gear)

• Good communication skills

Nice to Have (not required):

• Background or interest in construction, surveying, or civil engineering

• Fieldwork or hands-on experience

• Tech-savvy or comfortable learning new equipment

• College students encouraged to apply
