Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

To assist Bon Appetit employees in the day to day operation. 

To serve the student body, and guests, effectively and timely.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• 
  

  Show initiative in supporting the food service program in Stav Hall



• 
  

  Use previous food service experience to support new team members and help them adapt to work environment



• 
  

  Set up stations with appropriate utensils and serving pans



• 
  

  Compose and plate products according to guests’ desires 



• 
  

  Restock menu items and other products. 



• 
  

  Assist Bon Appetit staff as needed



• 
  

  Keeping work areas clean during service



• 
  

  Adhering to all sanitation, cleanliness, and safety guidelines

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

At least one semester of food service experience required. Experience with Bon Appetit Mgmt. Co. in Stav Hall preferred.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs., and repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, respiratory factors, chemicals, wet or humid conditions indoors, extreme heat, and proximity hazards and rare exposure to vibrations, extreme cold, and cramped quarters to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required to perform some essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
