Program Summary:
California Emergency Response Corps; CERC; is a part of California Volunteers, California Service Corps and is one of four National Service programs within Bay Area Community Resources (BACR). CERCis a statewide AmeriCorps program with a mission to increase California’s resiliency by educating at-risk communities in emergency preparedness. CERC AmeriCorps Members serve with host partners all over the state, educating local communities on how to better prepare for disasters.
Position Summary:
10 positions are available based in the County of Los Angeles. Fellows will be serving with CORE—Community Organized Relief Effort. Fellows will report directly to management on CORE California’s Disaster Recovery team and will support disaster recovery from the Los Angeles wildfires.
THIS IS A LIMITED TERM POSITION OF 1700 HOURS (approximately 11 months)
