Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):

The Chemistry Office Assistant works with a team of other office assistants from the Natural Sciences to support the NSM AAAs with general office and project management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

⚫ Put up new posters; take down old ones    

⚫ Regularly inventory workroom supplies

⚫ Post seminar and other flyers on Tightrope    

⚫ Photocopy/Scan as assigned

⚫ General office workroom management    

⚫ Update Alumni database

⚫ Retrieve and deliver department mail    

⚫ Large Format poster printing

⚫ Campus errands    

⚫ Other duties as assigned

   
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

⚫ Knowledge of NSM faculty, staff, and departments 

⚫ Skilled in Google Drive and Microsoft Office, including Docs and Sheets/Excel 

⚫ Experience with Canva and Wordpress

⚫ Experience with large format printing

⚫ Dependable and punctual

⚫ Ability to maintain confidentiality

⚫ Able to work with minimal supervision

⚫ Strong communication skills
