Chick-fil-A Marketing Intern

Chick-fil-A Eau Claire has an upcoming Marketing Internship opportunity! This internship provides hands-on experience in restaurant marketing, social media, guest experience, community engagement, and business growth. Interns will gain exposure to promotional campaigns, social media content, events, creative marketing, and restaurant operations while learning Chick-fil-A’s culture of hospitality.

This internship is designed for a self-motivated, professional individual who enjoys creativity, serving others, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Marketing & Creative

• Create engaging content for Chick-fil-A Eau Claire’s social media channels
• Capture photo and video content during events, promotions, and day-to-day restaurant activities
• Assist with planning and developing social media content and content calendars
• Create graphics for social media, in-restaurant signage, promotions, and marketing campaigns
• Develop marketing materials for events and restaurant initiatives
• Support seasonal campaigns and creative projects
• Help develop marketing initiatives designed to drive sales, guest engagement, and brand awareness
• Monitor social media trends and identify creative opportunities to engage with the local community

Events & Guest Experience

• Assist with planning and executing restaurant events.
• Support guest engagement opportunities, food sampling, and Surprise & Delight initiatives.
• Represent Chick-fil-A at select community events.

Operations Experience

• Work alongside Front of House team members to learn Chick-fil-A operations, hospitality, and Second Mile Service.
• Support restaurant operations during peak periods.
• Gain firsthand knowledge of the guest experience.

Internship Bootcamp

During the first three weeks, interns will spend approximately 75–80% of their time working Front of House to gain a strong understanding of Chick-fil-A operations, hospitality, and Second Mile Service. This foundation prepares interns to better serve guests, support the team during busy periods, and develop marketing initiatives that authentically reflect the Chick-fil-A brand. Following the first three weeks, interns can expect to spend 25% of their time working in operations. 

Capstone Marketing Project

Interns will take ownership of a marketing project focused on a specific restaurant objective, such as breakfast growth, catering sales, or seasonal campaign development. Interns will develop a strategy, execute initiatives, measure results, and present recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• College junior or senior, recent graduate, or student pursuing Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Experience with Canva or similar design platforms preferred.
• Experience in marketing, customer service, events, or community engagement is a plus.

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Compensation: $18-$20 Hourly 

Dress Code: Business casual attire is required unless otherwise directed for operational shifts or events.
