City Wide Internship - Global Citizenship Team

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Global Citizenship team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing educational and community outreach initiatives. The intern will play a key role in supporting the team with various tasks related to the annual youth conference, workshop facilitation, and more. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in planning and organizing the annual youth conference 

• Create flyers and promotional materials for events and workshops 

• Conduct community outreach to engage and inform local communities 

• Facilitate Global Education workshops for youth participants 

• Interact with youth to foster a supportive and engaging environment 

• Track attendance and maintain accurate records 

• Support the team with additional tasks as needed 

Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant academic program (e.g., Education, Social Work, Communications) 

• Strong organizational and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Experience with community outreach and youth engagement is a plus 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design software (e.g., Canva) is desirable 

• Passion for global education and youth empowerment
