About the Role:
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support our engineering team in planning, designing, and managing a variety of projects in the civil engineering discipline. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in civil engineering fundamentals, exposure to project documentation, and opportunities to participate in site visits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preliminary design calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Support preparation of plans and specifications projects
- Conduct research and compile data for engineering studies
- Participate in field visits to observe construction activities and verify compliance with project plans
- Collaborate with project engineers to review design standards, codes, and permitting requirements
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other applicable Engineering degree
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Learning Outcomes:
Interns will gain applied knowledge of civil design processes, exposure to project lifecycle stages, and professional mentorship from licensed engineers.
