About the Role:
We are seeking a Client Service Intern to support key advisory processes and day‑to‑day operations that enable our team to deliver a white‑glove client experience. This intern will work alongside our full‑time Client Service Associates to support the Wealth Advisors of our Salt Lake City office.
Hours:
This is a part-time, on-site position located in downtown Salt Lake City.
Mondays & Wednesdays: 8 AM - 5 PM.
Responsibilities:
Support teams with tasks and paperwork for key processes and workflows, including client onboarding, private fund entry, and ongoing account management.
Manage essential administrative duties such as document intake, electronic filing, and client correspondence to ensure smooth advisory team operations.
Contribute to client projects, including research, written summaries, and preparation of custom reports.
Enter, organize and analyze client information within our CRM software.
Prepare meeting materials and complete follow‑up tasks from client meetings, such as financial plans, balance sheets and net worth statements, performance reports, and presentation materials.
Provide reception support as needed, including greeting visitors and preparing or resetting conference spaces for meetings.
Understand and adhere to internal compliance standards and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Priority will be given to juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Outlook, Teams, and other tools for staying connected with the team.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reports, administrative tasks, and client requests.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines set by the intern coordinator and team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong interest in client service and a desire to learn about the financial services industry.
Adhere to all compliance/risk procedures and follow industry protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with processes and procedures at Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity (Wealthscape) advisor portals.
Experience with CRM software and data management.
Excel modelling skillset.
