Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Salary Range: $XX.XX - $XX.XX per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview:

The Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech-Language Pathologist performs diagnostic evaluations and administers treatment to patients with communication, voice, cognitive-linguistic and/or swallowing disorders under the supervision of a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist in accordance with California state regulations and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Clinical Fellowship requirements.

This position offers mentorship, structured supervision, and opportunities for professional growth while completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Required:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an institution approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Eligibility for California Speech-Language Pathology licensure through the California Board of Speech-Language and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board for the Required Professional Year
• Completion of graduate clinical practicum requirements
• Eligible for or currently holding a California RPE (Required Professional Experience) temporary license if applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred:

• Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and recommendations
