Requirements

Communications Intern: Work on developing and executing external communications, branding, and digital communication strategies and initiatives. Sample projects will include creating a media contact list, industry stories for specific publications, press releases on Joseph Gallo Farms' accomplishments, and developing a strategic plan for branding. The communications intern will build relationships with the media and internal executive team while constantly looking for ways to boost the company's corporate image. Must have a passion for content creation, PR and executive branding and strong writing and communication skills. (Bonus: experience in journalism, social media, or marketing.)

Degree Programs of Interest: Journalism, English, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields. 

Students will be on a structured internship program. They are required to work on project-based work that will directly impact the success of the business and be relevant to their achieved studies. At the end of the internship, they will be required to make a presentation to the executive committee regarding their project, their findings, and recommendations. Internships are approximately 3 months long with start date and end date negotiable based on school schedule.

Utilizing the information provided create a press release or simple story to announce the award. No more than 2-3 paragraphs.
