Content Development Internship

THE ROLE:

MediaSource is seeking a part-time (15-20 hours per week),  content development SUMMER intern. The selected candidate will gain experience working in a fast paced, award winning communications firm. Put your creative skills to work by performing a variety of duties related to multimedia content development. Success in this position requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, the ability to take initiative and responsibility to deliver assigned tasks on deadline.

MediaSource offers both single and multi-semester internships. College juniors and seniors with public relations and communications experience are encouraged to apply.

Learn Through These Experiences:

• Research and information gathering on potential story topics.
• Brainstorming for multimedia story development. 
• Story writing. 
• Field production grip.
• Production assistant for multimedia productions.
• Supporting digital media delivery and distribution. 
• Selecting bites and b-roll from interview/shoot footage. 
• Collaborating on copy editing and video editing with the creative content team. 

WHO YOU ARE:

• Self-starter with the ability to be assigned tasks, prioritize work and the work  on deadline, with direction and feedback.
• Ability to work on various stages of multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Ability to adapt to change in requests and direction.
• Comfortable in a collaborative environment which uses honest, direct, authentic communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and in good academic standing.
• Prior internship experience in creative services or marketing is not required but is a plus.
• Ability to manage 15-20 hours per week while attending classes.

LOCATION: MediaSource is located in Columbus, Ohio. 

PAY: $11/hour
